Music Barn Festival: Songs Along the Sangamon

Event Details

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s School of Music presents a weekend of  rich music at Allerton Park & Retreat Center’s idyllic Music Barn.

Songs for a New World

The first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Bridges of Madison County) is a collection of powerful songs examining life, love and the choices that we make. With a small,  multi-ethnic cast and a driving, exquisitely crafted score that runs the gamut of today’s popular music, Songs for a New World is a great way to bring the next generation into the theatre.
